Partner With Us
Verdict Point is an independent publication about the business of law. Our readers are managing partners, operations leads, legal marketers, and legal technology buyers. We work with a small number of partners whose material is useful to that audience and can meet the same evidence standards as our own research.
All partnership enquiries are handled by email at verdictpoint@gmail.com. We do not publish a rate card on this page. Terms are agreed in writing for each piece.
Ways to Work With Us
We consider four kinds of partnership. Each one is reviewed by our editor before anything is scheduled.
- Sponsored Posts: A paid article on a topic that fits one of our five sections. Every sponsored post carries a clear sponsorship label, and paid links are marked as sponsored.
- Guest Posts: An unpaid, original article from a practitioner or subject specialist. We look for first-hand expertise, named sources, and a topic we have not already covered.
- Research and Data Collaborations: A dataset, survey, or benchmark that we can examine and report on. We need the method, sample, and dates before we publish any figure.
- Source and Correction Suggestions: A newer source, a missing dataset, or a correction to a published figure. These are always free and are handled as editorial tips.
What We Accept
A proposal has the best chance when it matches what we already publish. The points below apply to sponsored and guest material alike.
- Relevant Topics: Law firm operations, legal technology, legal marketing, and the legal-services market.
- Verifiable Evidence: Every statistic needs a public source, its real year, and its sample or scope.
- Original Writing: The piece must not be published elsewhere, and the author must hold the rights to it.
- Named Authors: We publish the author's real name and role. We do not run anonymous promotional content.
What We Decline
Some requests do not fit an independent publication, and we would rather say so up front.
- Undisclosed Paid Placement: We do not accept payment for links or mentions that are not labeled.
- Edits to Existing Research for a Fee: Our published findings change only when the evidence changes.
- Off-Topic Material: We decline content about gambling, lending, adult products, or anything unrelated to the business of law.
- Legal Advice or Client Solicitation: We do not publish material that offers case-specific guidance or lawyer referrals.
Editorial Independence
Payment never buys a conclusion. Sponsors do not review or approve our independent articles, and a partnership does not affect how we report on a company or its competitors. We may edit any submitted piece for accuracy, clarity, and house style, and we may decline or remove a piece that does not meet these standards.
How to Send a Proposal
Email verdictpoint@gmail.com with the details below so we can reply with a clear answer.
- Partnership Type: Sponsored post, guest post, research collaboration, or source suggestion.
- Proposed Topic: A working title and two or three sentences on what the reader will learn.
- Evidence: Links to the sources or data you plan to use.
- Author: The name, role, and organization of the person who will be credited.
- Links: Any page you would like referenced, and why it helps the reader.
